Airsoft Open Session
Airsoft Rental Packages
- Package 1: R250 per player (250 BB's each)
- Package 2: R300 per player (450 BB's each)
- Includes: Airsoft Rifle / Mask
- Extra BB's: R40 for 100 BB's
- There is no booking or deposit needed
- Rentals may not bring their own BB's or get from players with their own equipment
- For 3 or more people we suggest you reserve equipment at least 24 hours before
Own Airsoft Gear Range Fee: R200
- You may bring your own airsoft gun for private bookings
- We have bio BB's for sale at the field
- Own airsoft guns may not share their BB's with rentals
- If you bring your own BB's they must be bio and max weight of 0.30
- Please note: When you arrive, your airsoft gun must be on safe, magazine out and a proper barrel sock on (a normal foot sock or unchecked home made barrel sock does not count)

Payment
- Full payment must be settled in cash on the day
- No credit card facilties as we have reception problems
Open Session Days & Times
- Minimum Age For Open Session: 12
- Every Sunday of the month, check our Open Session Calendar on the day
- 12:00: Gates Open
- 12:30: Sign in
- If you arrive late you may need to sit out a game or two before we will be able to get you on the field
- Cash Only, NO credit card facilities
- If a rental
- ~ Select the package and any protective gear you may want
- ~ Pay for your package and gear(Equipment will be given out after the safety brief)
- If you have your own equipment
- ~ Pay range fee
- ~ Purchase BB's, gas, air or anything else you may need
- 12:50: Chrono
- 13:10: If you have not played at the field before, you will need to attend the safety briefing
- Equipment will then be given out after brief
- 13:30: Players will be split into two evenly matched groups
- Rentals will get a chance to test out their guns at the shooting range
- First game will be explained and the fun shall begin
- Players come off the field between games for 10 minutes to have a rest and reload
- We try get in as many games as we can before open session ends
- 16:45: Open Session Ends
General Information
- Open Session is when you play with other people
- Beginner friendly
- Open sessions are very social
- Perfect for rentals, own equipment, individuals and small groups
- All games are scenario-based
- Full payment must be settled on the day in cash
Airsoft Safety
- Magazines must be out and safeties on at all times in the safe area
- No firing in the safe area, including dry firing
- Your finger must be off the trigger in the safe area
- No real weapons of any kind are allowed on the property
- Anyone repeatedly caught pointing an airsoft gun at another person inside the safe area, will be deemed a safety hazard and will be asked to return their equipment and not allowed back on the field
- Your BB's may not be shared with rental markers
- If you bring your own BB's, they must be bio-degradable
- Rifles
- Barrel socks must be on before the rifle is taken out the car
- Barrel socks must be on at all times in the safe area (even if there is no battery)
- Pistols
- Pistols must be holstered at all times in the safe area (even if there is no battery or magazine inserted)
- On the field
- Only once inside the playing area and upon instruction from the marshal, may the barrel sock be removed, magazine inserted and safety turned off
- Before exiting the game area all players MUST replace the barrel sock securely over the barrel, remove the magazine and turn the safety on
- Guns must be set to semi-auto. No full-auto or ramping is allowed
- Laser sights are not to be used on the field
Airsoft Chrono
- Semi-Auto Rifle & Pistol
- Max FPS: 400FPS with a 0.20gr BB (+- 1.48 Joules)
- Max weight: 0.30gr BB to stop joule creep
- Sniper
- Max FPS: 450FPS with a 0.20gr BB (+- 1.88 Joules)
- Max weight: 0.45gr BB to stop joule creep
- Min Engagement: 20m
- Permission needs to be given to use a sniper rifle
Field Etiquette
- People not abiding by these rules will either be sent off the field for a cool down period, sent home,
banned from the field for a period of time or permanently banned with no refund
- Records are kept of players and if we find a trend of small infringements, action will be taken
- Teams with players that constantly break rules may be banned
- If an open session has constant issues, the field will close early
- Infringements may be reported to other fields
Disputes
- All problems & issues must be reported to the marshals who will then take the appropriate action
- Marshal's decisions are final
- No confronting people on or off the field, even if they are breaking the etiquette rules
- No starting fights
- No physical or verbal abuse towards another player
Shooting
- No shooting people after they are out (hand up or death rag)
- No shooting people after the game has ended
- No shooting hot
- No shooting full auto
- No shooting someone over a dispute
- No over shooting, even if they not taking their hits
- No blind firing
- Bang rule: You can't bang someone if they know you are there
- Sniper, no shooting closer than the allocated distance
- No purposefully shooting a person to hurt them
Being Shot
- Not taking your hit, if you are unsure if you are shot or not, take the hit
- If you are going into close quarter areas, you are going to be shot close range. If you do not want to be shot
close range, do not enter CQB areas
- If padding is constantly stopping a player from feeling their hits, they will be asked to remove the padding
- If you are not wearing full face protection, don’t complain if someone shoots you in the face
Unacceptable behaviour
- Excessive swearing
- Aggression
- Shouting at people to take their hit (if people are not taking their hit, report them)
- Arguing with the marshals
- Removing eye protection on the field
- Playing under the influence (drugs or alcohol)
- Removing barrel sock, dry firing and other general safety rules in the safe area
Other
- Constantly doing small infringements
- No real weapons allowed (knives included). Criminal charges will be laid against people not abiding by this rule
- Using equipment not approved by the field, if you are unsure speak to the marshals
- Using BB's not allowed by the field
- Not supportive or being condescending to new players / rentals
